Have you ever watched Big Fat Greek Wedding? Remember the part in the dress rehearsal when the actress playing Nia Vardalos's mother asks Nia Vardalos's fiance what type of meat he likes and she replies "he's a vegetarian". The whole room goes quiet. Then her mother says "so lamb then!"...That used to be my reaction to when someone told me they were vegetarian or vegan( yes I know the difference)...However since I've been to Foundation and had more and more vegan foods my attitudes have changed quite a bit...
You're feeling weak, are bruising easily, and have low calcium, you might want to look at different replacements like soups or salads for the more common supplies of nutrients(but then you know this already, you are the nurse afterall.)

Too bad you don't eat cheese, one of the few meals I make really well is vegitarian dish called speedy lentil casserole. Its has a very high protein content. Mom made me learn so I could make dinner before she got home from work. I'll talk to you her, maybe she knows some vegan dishes...

This post seems whiny reading it over again, I just neglected my healh for the last semester because I had a lot of things going on
but yes, I vividly remember the above scene from My Big Fat Greek Weeding. Good one
